Lucas Rios Giordano Architects + Associates is an architectural firm founded in 1981 with offices in Los Angeles, California and Montevideo, Uruguay.  The firm provides comprehensive services in architecture and engineering, planning and interior design for new facilities, both residential and commercial, as well as renovations and landmark restorations.  We have successfully completed numerous fast-track and design/build projects as well as conventionally scheduled and organized assignments.

The firm’s diversified work includes high-rise apartment and condominium buildings, industrial projects and commercial spaces as well as recreational and residential commissions.  Our projects range in scale from interior design with a meticulous attention to detail to high-rise towers and industrial projects with complex structural requirements.  Over the years, the office has completed several projects involving the restoration and addition to buildings of significant historical and architectural landmark status.  Our current projects include residential work in Southern California, commercial developments in Montevideo, and a multi-phase beach resort in Punta del Este.

Lucas Rios Giordano Architects + Associates is committed to the highest standards of design.  On each project, we coordinate the work of an experienced team of structural and mechanical engineers as well as numerous specialty consultants.  We also have extensive experience integrating technical, economic and management expertise into the planning and design of the projects we take on.

Over the years, Lucas Rios Giordano’s designs have won numerous awards and been published in architectural magazines in North America, South America and Europe.  As an educator he has been associated with the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism in Montevideo, Woodbury University in Burbank, California and The Southern California Institute of Architecture.

Ronen Sigall, a graduate of The Southern California Institute of Architecture, has been associated with the office since 1998, most recently as a partner on several loft conversion projects in downtown Los Angeles.  He has also worked with The Luckman Partnership, Perkins Eastman Architects and Barry Design.
